The distress of the milk producers is in its roof space. The very strong mobilisation of the farmers is the sign of an exasperation facing an economic system which does not allow their job to be just remunerated. The logic of the market king who guides decisions world politics, national and French in agriculture drives to a dead end. The socialist Party reports with force and determination dupe's game victims of which are the milk stockbreeders and the consumers, who for their part determine any cuts price.

For the socialist Party, the ongoing restructuring in milk course of study is desired and even planned by the European Liberals with the agreement of the French government. This restructuring has as unconfessed objective the concentration of the milk production, in the name of the only economic competitiveness, to the advantage of industries of transformation and distribution.

The socialist Party warns the government which, for lack of a reorientation of its policy, will have to manage a situation of very difficult crisis a heavy part of responsibility of which it carries.

The hour is not any more in mesurettes and in rafistolages, but in total change. The socialist Party asks the government to carry again the file of the milk quotas Europe-wide, by demanding their extension sine die, as well as the immediate frost of their increase. Disastrous decisions decided under French presidency of the European Union at the end of 2008 must be left.

The principle of quotas must be restored and defended by all: it will be a strong signal and a necessary solution to take out the stockbreeders of their distress.
