Rubric 1st district

As deputy of the 1st district of the Loire, of which is part the village of Villars and the sector of the Bridge of Ane-Monthieu, I am delighted with the adoption of DAC by SCOT South-Loire, who allows to stabilise the pole of Montravel-Ratarieux at his current level of commercial surfaces and to offer an establishment in the sign Decathlon on the zone of the Bridge of the Donkey for the enlargement of his shop.
This vote goes to the sense of the position which I had expressed during the round table organised by the association " SOS-Villars " on May 29th of this year.
The plans of Immochan on the sector of Montravel (transfer-extension of Decathlon and restructuring of the shopping arcade of the shopping centre Auchan) would have the effect the doubling of the surface of sale on this zone (+7800 m2). These plans in full contradiction with SDEC (diagramme of commercial development) adopted in 2006 and with the document of general direction of SCOT (territorial diagramme of coherence) voted on December 4th, 2008, would have two harmful consequences in my opinion: a rocking of commercial offer between the poles of agglomeration to the detriment of trade of city centre and the congestion of a sector already gravely saturated by traffic problems, especially on RD 201, at an instant when it is necessary to favour commercial plans served by public transport.
I formulate a reservation however on the classification urbanisable of fields above the zone of Montravel zones it, while these are distant from equipment of the city centre of Villars and I ask that the elected representatives of SCOT reclassify this zone in agricultural sector.
