With my delegated colleagues, Marietta Karamanli, Genevi ve Fioraso, Jean-Yves Le D aut, Daniel Goldberg and with Bertrand Monthubert the National Secretary of PS loads with it Higher education and research, we gave a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, day of national demonstration in Paris before Daniel Goldberg questions the Minister during the session of the Questions of actuality.

Crisis becomes established permanently in universities. The socialist Party had however told the government that the reform of the status of the teachers-researchers was taking a very worrying dimension in an unwarrantable context of abolition of posts.

The reform of the training of the teachers is also rejected for lack of cooperation and of negotiation prior. Moreover, the reform of research public agencies aims at the dismantling of the NATIONAL CENTRE FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH and beyond at the weakening of multidisciplinary basic research.

The socialist Party supports the mobilisation of the students and of the personnels of research and of universities. He gives make - you to all those who are tied to a research and to a quality higher education, during the demonstrations of Tuesday, February 10th.

He reminds that he is favourable to a moratorium of hired reforms, to a frost of job cuts and to a reorientation of the budget 2009.

He is more than time for the government to change cape.

The socialist Party supports the request of constitution of a parliamentary mission which, linked to a suspension of reforms and to a re-establishment of abolished scientific jobs, must allow to restore serenity in universities and research organisms.
