The upper score to that of Beno t Hamon. What responsibility and what position?
The score which I got for the post of First Federal Secretary (73 %) is almost the double of that got by motion C The World beforehand in the Loire (37 %). I want to thank the socialist lig riens activists of the confidence which they manifested to me. Their massive vote is a great satisfaction. At the same time, I measure strong waitings which translates this score and the expanse of the responsibilities which are mine at the head of the Federation PS of the Loire.
As I got involved to all activists there, I currently want to enliven a collective job by gathering in a team renewed and representative of all lig riens territories, all the sensitivity of our Party. I wish a visible, strong Socialist Party, in permanent campaign, opened on the outside and with ambitious goals of development to prepare our electoral conquests of tomorrow.
They say the PS less divided on the base than on the summit?
The activists and the socialist lig riens elected representatives wish gathering and unit of their party. It is time to close again the too long parenthesis of this congress of Reims where PS appeared torn on conflicts of persons and distant from concerns of Frenchmen. Stop the fire! I call the national leaders to responsibility and to dignity. Our voters would not excuse us the chase of some irresponsible behaviours which taint the credibility of our political trade union group.
What is the state of mind of the lig riens activists after Reims?
As the socialist sympathizers, they are anxious of the uncertainty which reigns domestically. But they are also very combative and want to get down to work as soon as possible to oppose to the policy of the government as shows it their many presence in the processions of demonstrations for State education and defence of the Public service of Post Офис last week. This country needs a PS roadworthy, in a context of economic and social crisis, where a more and more important part of our fellow citizens do not any more succeed in making ends meet and where stand out political debates major for their future as the general implementation of the job of Sunday.
How to reconcile a particular line and a collective job?
Each knows that I supported Motion C The world beforehand and the candidacy of Beno t Hamon in the post of First Secretary before voting for Martine Aubry. In the opinion of all, Benoit Hamon was the revelation of this congress, especially in the general public who knew him badly. He represents today at the same time anchoring to the left and change in PS. I want to make live at local level this new breath which it represented these last weeks, while registering it as part of a job linking all diversity of our party.
What will be the first construction site of the new Federal Secretary of the Loire?
I am going to set up a team blending youth and experience, with new heads but also by supporting me on our many competences and our network of elected representatives today firmly anchored in the Loire. Priority will be given to action on the ground, the development of our militant force in the territories where we are still away. I want to throw bridges between our parliamentarians, our regional, departmental elected representatives and our mayors so that they have talks, act and speak about the same voice on lig riens files: it is a trump facing a local right divided in baronnies. I wish finally, to tie a more regular dialogue with force of left, associations and labour unions at departmental level.
Bravo and thank you for representing change and anchoring to the left, both parametres which go, I am sure there, allow PS to go back to success.
